The Nobel laureate and billionaire tech investor said his family has been deeply concerned by the rise of coronaviroas and the global pandemic.
In an interview with ABC News, Gates said the Gates Foundation had been “deeply involved” in fighting the pandemic in India.
“The Gates Foundation has been working closely with governments around the world to fight coronaviral diseases, and we are very deeply concerned about the number of new coronavires that we see in India,” he said.
“We have also been working with a lot of other international partners to try to slow down the spread of the coronavire.”
But, you know, I’m not going to say that it’s the only cause of the increase, but I think it is a cause.
“The Gates family has spent millions on anti-coagulants and other treatments for their families.
Bill Gates has invested more than $2 billion in the fight against COVID-19 and the Gates foundation has also invested more money in the anti-COVID-20 campaign.
In the interview, Gates also discussed the impact of the recent US elections on global politics.”
